Award-winner

Dr. Bill Zuk (education), seen here with the top portion of a three-tiered sculpture, recently accepted an award of excellence from the National Art Education Association for the best series of three-dimensional artwork. Zuk’s eclectic work is dedicated to the celebration of nature and life cycles. His symbolic use of the salmon, spiral, female torso, and helix showcases the journey and life cycle of the salmon and the nurturing and giving of life. Zuk’s artwork was featured in the 2000 Electronic Gallery at the National Art Education Conference in Los Angeles earlier this year.
