Nominations sought for outstanding students

Many UVic students who are academic high achievers also make significant contributions to their communities, both on campus and off.

Members of the university community and the general public can honour these special students by nominating them for the UVic Blue and Gold Circle awards. The program was established in 1996 to recognize students with high academic standing, athletic or artisic accomplishment, and dedication to community service.

Nominations are open to graduate and undergraduate students if they are enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum grade point average of 5.0.

To nominate a UVic student for a Blue an Gold award, contact UVic’s student awards and financial aid office at 721-8424. The nomination deadline is Nov. 17.
