Having a ball

Tennis camp serves up the start of summer for (l-r) Christina Scheurle, Laura Simandl and Caryn Dooner. Vikes Summer Camps 2004 are offering over 63 week-long programs—everything from rowing to ice hockey, basketball and dragon-boating. Vikes varsity athletes and coaching staff lead the camps, sharing their expertise with more than 1,500 participants. "The camps are aimed at youth 5–18 years-old and are tailored to fit all ability levels. It's a great way to have fun while learning from the best," says Marlena Stubbings, athletic event and summer camp supervisor. For more information call 721-8406 or visit www.athrec.uvic.ca.
