Committee being struck to review UVic’s president

Dr. David Turpin’s current term as UVic president will end on August 31, 2010. Board chair Ray Protti has announced that an appointment committee is being struck in accordance with UVic policy 1010, Procedures for the Search/ Appointment/ Reappointment of the President and Vice-Chancellor. Its initial responsibility will be to consider Turpin for reappointment and to make a recommendation to the Board of Governors.
