Cob gobblers
It may be corny, but there's nothing like a cob of supersweet or peaches 'n cream to signal the waning days of summer and a return to classes. From left, Beate Oerzen, Pauline Vykruta and Colleen McLennan joined hundreds of other UVic students in enjoying corn-on-the-cob and burgers and hot dogs at this year's President's BBQ around a sun-drenched university fountain on Sept. 7.
