May 2011 Holocaust Field School
I-witness Holocaust Field School, May 8-28, 2011: This is a collection of photos taken by members of the inaugural I-witness Holocaust Field School, a new course launched by UVic's Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies this year and the first of its kind in Canada for undergraduate students. The group visited Central Europe in May 2011 to explore how the sights, memories and history of the Holocaust have been preserved at historical sites, museums and monuments.
